When bleaching, the process conditions must be strictly controlled to ensure the proper strength of the fabric or yarn.
When cellulose fiber products are oxidized under different conditions, reductive oxidized cellulose fiber products containing a large number of aldehyde groups or carbonyl groups or acidic oxidized cellulose fiber products containing a large number of carboxyl groups can be obtained. Although the macromolecular chain of cellulose fiber products does not break in the reduced oxidized cellulose fiber products, there is potential damage. Under alkaline conditions, the macromolecular chain of cellulose fiber products will be broken, the degree of polymerization will decrease, and the fiber strength will decrease.
